Bill Brown

Bill Brown, 66, of Rockport, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Greenville, Kentucky on June 4, 1951 to the late Delbert Brown and Cora May Bannon Brown. Mr. Brown retired from a cable company after 23 years of service. He was also a member of Rockport Baptist Church.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Mindy Landrum; three siblings, Gleda Jones, Daisy Eckenfels, and Ivan “Buck” Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carolene Spurlock Brown of Rockport, Kentucky; Daughter, Kim (Troy) Farris of Hartford; son-in-law, Derek Landrum of Central City; three grandchildren, Alex Farris, Ashton Farris, and Austin Landrum; brother, Delbert Brown of Beaver Dam; sister, Mary Carter of Beaver Dam.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 A.M.  Friday, March 9, 2018 at Echols Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Brown’s family from 5-8 P.M. Thursday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
