Daniel Louis Scott Hurt, 34, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. He was born January 30, 1982 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Daniel was a member of Independence Baptist Church in McHenry, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond E. West; paternal grandfather, Dalton Hurt; and paternal grandmother, Johnnie Pauline Hopper Hurt.
Survivors include his parents, Wilma West Hurt (Donald Locke) of Beaver Dam; father, Rickey L. Hurt of Central City; wife, Jasmine Jones of Beaver Dam; brothers, Michael (Kristen) Hurt of Beaver Dam, Nicholas Hurt of Beaver Dam, John Randel (Jessica) Locke of Florida, Charles “Coty” Hurt of Beaver Dam; sister, Kaylane Hurt (Aaron) McQuady of Beaver Dam; nieces and nephews, Kyra Joy Hurt, Addyson Faith Hurt, Keona Grace McQuady, Khole Hope McQuady, and Remmington Chase McQuaty; grandmother, Nadine West.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
