Elaine (Sheffield) Tichenor

Elaine Sheffield Tichenor, 75, of Philpot, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2018. She was born in Centerown to the late Harold Ray Sheffield and Geneva Addinton Sheffield. She was preceded in death by all her siblings, Randall Sheffield, Karen Sheffield Bundy, and Dorothy Lou Sheffield Render.

She retired from Chase Bank with 40 years of banking experience. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church in Masonville.

Survivors include one daughter, Vicki Lynn Tichenor Pulliam of Hawesville, one son, Jeffery Paul Tichenor of New York; one granddaughter, Autumn Lynn Pulliam of Hawesville; an exceptional and considerate son-in-law, David Chris Pulliam of Hawesville; one brother-in-law, Randy Render of Centertown; one sister-in-law, Bertha Allen Sheffield of Centertown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Walton’s Creek Baptist Church, 53 Carter Ferry Road, Centertown, KY 42328 with Matthew Sheffield officiating. Burial will follow in Walton’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with Ms. Tichenor’s family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
