James “Jim” Felix Ford, 81, of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away May 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1935, in Horse Branch to the late Basil Ford and Ruby Sanders Ford. Mr. Ford was retired from Texaco as a truck driver and Ohio County Board of Education as a bus driver. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Rose Chittick Ford on July 24, 2000.

Survivors include three sons, James Michael (Emma) Ford of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Steven Alan (Sherry) Ford of Horse Branch and David Lee (Sharon) Ford of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Sean Ford, Stephanie Ford, Sonya Ford and fiancé Jarrod; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara (James) Daniel of Horse Branch; two brothers-in- law and one sister-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 2, 2017, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Ford’s family from 4-7 P.M. Thursday and from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
