Linda Murray Fancher

Linda Murray Fancher, 64, of Centertown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Jim Pete Murray and Dorothy Lee Kiper Murray. Mrs. Fancher was a Licensed Practical Nurse, wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ralph Bates and James Murray and two sisters, Debbie Murray and Regina Lindsey.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Rex Fancher of Centertown; five children, Raymond (Icie) Fancher of Hartford, Kimberly Fancher of Beaver Dam, James (Shawn) Fancher of Beaver Dam, Dion Bates of Centertown and Jeremy Bates of Centertown. Mrs. Fancher was blessed with ten grandchildren, Alex Hunt, Emerald Hunt, Celena Hunt, Zack Fancher, Anna Fancher, Blade Fancher, Wesley Fancher, Catelyn Fancher, Robert Sutherland and Gage Whittaker; and two sisters, Catherine Daugherty of Beaver Dam and Sharon Daniels of Pleasant Ridge and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Bruce Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
