So very sorry to hear of the death of Mary Evelyn. Her mother and my grandmother, Dessie Shepherd Barnes, were sisters. My father, Gilbert Barnes, thought so much of her, her sisters and their cousin, Anna Margaret Hines Felty. My father spent the majority of his childhood with all of them, as his mother was very sick for five years and died when he was 12. Prayers are with her family.
