Sandra Jean (Price) Davis

Sandra Jean Elizabeth Price Davis, 74, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 08, 2017, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born June 1, 1942 in East Chicago, Indiana to Doris Jean Beisal Wampler and the late Woodrow Wilson Price. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. She was an avid crafter and church goer.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol Davis; father, Woodrow Wilson Price, and two grandsons, Cody Duwayne Geary and Adam Seth Geary.

Survivors include her mother, Doris Jean Wampler of Crown Point, Indiana; daughter, Dawn Geary of Beaver Dam; son, Craig Allen (Tina) Davis of Island, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Brittany and Garrett Geary, Meagan, Matthew, Katie, Tiffany and Craig, Jr. Davis; two great-grandchildren, Wesley Geary and Rylee Campbell; four sibling, Claude Wampler of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Cheryl (Ed) Shinabarger of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Deborah Shapar of Chicago, Illinois, and Paula (Gary) Satkamp of Brevard, North Carolina as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 10, 2017, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Matt Alsman officiating. Burial will follow in Taylormine Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Davis’s family from  5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
