Betty R. Allen, 78, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to her heavenly home on April 2, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born September 30, 1939 in Evarts, Kentucky to the late Lee Allen and Ethel Smith Allen. Ms. Allen retired from Perdue Farms, and was a member of Centertown Baptist Church.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Cecil Allen and two brothers, Billy Allen and Phillip Allen.
Survivors include three sons, Avery (Gwen) Davis of Beaver Dam, Ronnie Allen of Beaver Dam, and Matthew (Heather) Allen of Centertown; two daughters, Lydia Davis of Beaver Dam and Beth (Darrell) Miracle of Billings, Montana; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; godson, Levi; one brother, Jack Allen of Louisville; two sisters, Anna Allen of Hartford and Jeanette (Eddie) Campbell of Hazard; nephew, Shane Jordan of Lawrenceburg and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Scott Fleener officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Ms. Allen’s family from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.
