Doris Phelps Pharris, 71, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Ohio County Hospital. She was born January 12, 1946 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Estil Phelps and Gracie Marie Swift Phelps. Doris was employed many years by Cowden’s. Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilford Parris and one brother, James Lewis Phelps.
Survivors include one son, Timmy Pharris of Louisville; two daughters, Percillia “Denise” Berkley (Billy Watson) and Patricia (Kevin) Sandefur; four grandchildren, Jimmy Sandefur, Jason (Misty) Sandefur, Joshua (Michelle) Berkley and Autumn Tichenor; one brother, Gene Phelps of Hartford; and one sister, Darlene Phelps.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Doris’s family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
