James Edward "Jimbo" McKeown

James E. “Jimbo” McKeown,57, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 10, 1960 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late James Charles “J.C.” McKeown and Ora Mae Combs McKeown. Mr. McKeown was a carpenter and loved his beloved duck, Daisey.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny McKeown and sister, Brenda Frizzell. Survivors include his fiancé, Regina Fralin Stanley of Rocky Mount, Virginia; three sisters, Sharon (Roy) Dixon of Beaver Dam, Peggy McKeown of Owensboro and Nancy Joseph of Beaver Dam; one brother, Ronnie McKeown of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen per Jimbo’s wishes. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
