Jerry W. Pharis

Jerry W. Pharis, 66 of Bremen, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 30, 1952 in Ohio County to the late Harvey Estil and Wilma Jean Hoops Pharis.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Aaron McClintock (age 22); one granddaughter, Alissa Angell (age 23) and one brother in law, Ronnie Sailing (age 39).

Survivors include his wife of nearly 40 years, Lora Pharis of Bremen; four children, Crystal (Bryan) Brown of Crooksville, Ohio, Ladonna Pharis of Bremen, Lester W. Pharis of Bremen and Jerry D. Pharis of Bremen; three brothers, Donnie (Louise) Pharis of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Jimmy (Robin) Pharis of McHenry and Estil (Teresa) Pharis of Bremen; four sisters, Debbie (Ray) Sailing of Hartford, Mary Sailing of Centertown, Cynthia (Gordon) Franklin of Horace, North Dakota and Vicky (Timmy) Farris of Echols. Jerry was blessed with fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Danny Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Pharis’ family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
