Jonnie (English) Ward

Jonnie English Ward, 64, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to her heavenly home Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born February 8, 1955 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Franklin Wayne English and Grace Wilma Scott Griffith and Alcyon Scott. Jonnie was a homemaker and member of Echols General Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, photography, cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Charles English, Charles E. English and William “Buddy” English. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, five children, Jennifer Sexton of Horse Branch, Greg (Mandy) Givens of Beaver Dam, Kristy (Ricky) Neighbors of Centertown, Misty (Billy) Doss of Centertown and Darrel (Phylisha) Culbertson of Centertown; sixteen grandchildren, Justin (Jennifer) Tines, Jonathan (Donna) Tines, Bradley Weathers, Amber Carroll, Anthony Culbertson, Matthew (Andrea) Fuqua, Derrick Neighbors, Jared Ball, Payne Evans, Destiny Frizzell, Alexis Marie Givens, Jeremiah Stewart, Alan Ray Givens, Andrew Neighbors, Devin Neighbors and Janna Stewart; three step grandchildren, Blake Cannon of Fordsville, Tyler Doss of Cromwell and Kanenon Doss of Hartford; nine great-grandchildren; six siblings, Grace Ann English of Hopkinsville, Jequeta Barnes of Beaver Dam, Amanda Gilstrap of Horse Branch, Mark A. English of Bowling Green, Holly English of Illinois and Bobbie Jo Villalba of Beaver Dam and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2019 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery. Friends may visit with Jonnie’s family from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
