Kenneth Leon Saling

Kenneth Leon Saling, 79, of Echols, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home. He was born July 18, 1940 in Echols, Kentucky to the late Dennie Lee Saling and Lue Anna Key Saling. Mr. Saling was a retired coal miner.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom & Maggie Key and Lawson & Mullie Saling and two siblings, Dorene Saling and Lake Saling.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Carol Sue Saling of Echols; three children, Tony (Joyce) Saling of Echols, Kenneth Saling of Princeton, Kentucky and Paula Rakes of Echols; seven grandchildren, Dennie Saling, Jacob Saling, Kristy Saling, Amber Saling, Elizabeth Demonbreum, Wesley Rakes and Jeff Saling; ten great grandchildren, Logan Saling, Mahkayla Saling, Brennen Saling, Chaz Jensen, Neveah Jensen, Isabella Demonbreum, Jaxon Parker, Ozzy Parker, Dillon Saling and Caden Saling; and six siblings, Carol (Edythe) Saling, Phyllis (Jackie) Tichenor, Linda (Wayne) Jones, Diane (Jerry) Thomas, Shirley (Don) Tatum and Carolyn Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2019 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Lealin Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Salings family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
