Linda Kay Wilson, 70, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home. She was born in Daviess County on June 20, 1948 to the late James and Almeda Quinn. Linda greatly enjoyed fishing and traveling. In her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding and bowling. She loved spending time with her son Travis, her grandchildren, and her best friend/cousin Rosa Marsh. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and she had worked as a school bus driver for the Ohio County Board of Education and as a bus driver for the city of Owensboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Wilson; one son, Charles “Ricky” Wilson and two brothers, Ray Quinn and Michael Wayne Quinn.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Travis Wayne Wilson, DMD of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Kerstin Jessi-Ann Wilson, Trevor Charles Wilson, Brenner Kane Raymer, Mikaelea Wilson of Owensboro, Samantha Dixon (Chris) of Beaver Dam and Joshua Wilson (Robin) of Pleasant Ridge and 9 great grandchildren. A special thank you to Wendall Marsh (Valerie) and Helen Charles for their loving hands.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 14, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jeff Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Utica. Friends may visit with the family from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
