Mabel Ruth (Smith) Bryant

Mabel Ruth Smith Bryant passed away at Signature Healthcare of Hartford of October 9, 2018. She was born on May 16, 1920. She was 98 years old. Mabel was a homemaker and a longtime member of Oak Grove Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, George C. Bryant who passed away in 1979 and her son-in-law, W.T. Gray who passed in 2002. Also, three brothers and three sisters, all of Michigan.

She leaves behind one daughter, Wanda Gray (W.T., deceased) of Hartford; three granddaughters, Carolyn Sue Baize of Hartford, Holly Jean (Keith) Igleheart of Utica and Missy Gray (Roger) Duvall of Owensboro; four great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter and two great-great grandchildren; one sister-in-law and very special aunt to her children and grandchildren, Alice Dean Bryant of Cromwell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Oak Grove Church of God, 10358 KY-505, Cromwell, Kentucky with Rev. David Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with Ms. Bryant’s family from 10 A.M. until the time of service Friday at Oak Grove Church of God. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Bryant.
