Margie Jean Lindsey, 85, of Drakesboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Kindred Maple Manor of Greenville. She was born November 24, 1932 in McHenry, Kentucky to the late Willis Embry and Lena Baize Embry. Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Central City, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Elsie Dean Embry, and one brother, Carmen Embry. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Charles Lindsey of Drakesboro; two sons, Charles Wayne (Gwen) Lindsey of Boonville, Indiana and Rev. Gregory Alan (Lori) Lindsey of Henderson; two daughters, Debra Jean (Dr. E.C. ) McKinley of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Sherry Lynn Reynolds of Evansville, Indiana, eight grandchildren, Shanda, Jonathon, Shaun, Lindsey, Ryan, Brad, Seth, and Jayden; thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; three sisters, Mageline Gibbs of Leitchfield, Helen Hooks of Beaver Dam and Patricia Fredell of Beaver Dam. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 7, 2017 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Charles Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Lindsey’s family from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
