Nancy H. (Oller) Smith

Nancy H. Smith, 66 of Rockport, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg County Hospital in Greenville. She was born August 24, 1953 in Ohio County to the late Arthur Oller and Josephene Coy Oller. She was a former home health nurse for ProCare Home Health. Nancy was a member of Pond Run Baptist Church and she attended Rockport Baptist Church.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Portia Gregory.

She was a devoted wife to her husband of 50 years, Roger Smith of Rockport, Kentucky and a loving mother to her two children, Dale Smith of Hopkinsville and Julie Boyken of McLean County. She also leaves behind seven siblings, Arthur Oller Jr., James Oller, Vickie Fields, Judy Minton, Mary LaPointe, Penny Oller and Holly Fields; two half- sisters, Kathy Staton and Sue Ann Overstreet. Nancy was blessed with five grandchildren, Emily Grace Smith, Aimee Baggarly, Brook Boyken, Timmy Nelson and Marcus Boyken.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 5, 2019 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Smith’s family from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday and from 9 A.M. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
