Peggy Joan (Lacefield) Midkiff

Peggy Joan Midkiff, 78, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 06, 2018. She was born April 14, 1939 in McHenry, Kentucky to the late V.T. Lacefield and Iva Embry Lacefield. Mrs. Midkiff was a homemaker and a member of Hartford Church of Christ.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lod Midkiff and siblings, Chelcie Lacefiled, Olous Lacefield, Onell Lacefield, Kathleen Southerlin, and Geraldene Render.

Survivors include one brother, Udell Lacefield of Pekin, Illinois; four sisters, Fostine Duncan of Hartford, Maxine Duncan of Beaver Dam, Dorene Austin of Westfield, Indiana, and Joyce (Jewel) White of McMinnville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Mike Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Midkiff’s family from 11:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
