I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

So sorry to read in the paper of Ray's passing. We have such fond memories of Raymond & Florence & family as our neighbors for several years.

When I think of Ray the first thought that comes to my mind was his friendship while playing baseball for two years with him at DCHS. With his size playing first base gave everyone a good target to throw to and when pitching that size standing 60 feet away from the batter could be scary. Is always nice when a person leaves good memories for others to enjoy and Ray was one of those.

Betty, I am so sorry to hear about Ray passing away. Brought back so many memories of all the years our families were so close at Bosley Road and Parrish Avenue Church of Christ. My thoughts and prayers are with you Betty.
