Arthur Lue Allen

Arthur “Lue” Allen, 76, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Ohio County Healthcare with his family by his side. He was born September 29, 1943 in Ohio County to the late Hilbert Allen and Louvine Belle Sorrells Allen. Mr. Allen was a farmer and member of Hickory Presbyterian Church.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, WA Allen and Charles Allen and one sister, Martha Sue Poor.

He leaves behind to treasure his memory one brother, Leonard (Elizabeth) Allen of Cromwell; two sisters, Deana Allen of Auburn and Darlene Culbertson of Cromwell and twelve nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Gary Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with Mr. Allen’s family from 11:00 until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
