Bertha Santale "Sandy" (Allen) Grider

Bertha Santale Grider “Sandy”, 88, of Centertown, Kentucky passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. She was born June 3, 1933 in Ohio County to the late Dennie and Bertha Allen. She lived in the Ceralvo/Centertown Community and was a member of Centertown United Methodist Church.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Joe B. Grider; son, Mikel R. Grider; four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Joe Brent (Joyce) Grider of Rockport and Dennie Lee (Shelia) Grider of Centertown several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, November 8, 2021 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Mike Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Star Cemetery in Centertown. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
