Bobby Joe "BJ" Brown

Bobby Joe “BJ” Brown, 44 of Centertown, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born on June 23, 1979 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Phillip and Mary Burden Brown. BJ worked in construction and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Bobbie Jo Brown; one nephew, Colton Brown and one niece, Sadie Sutton.

He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his wife of 24 years, Maria Stewart Brown of Centertown; one daughter, Kayla Brown of Centertown; five siblings, Michael Shane (Charity) Brown of Beaver Dam, Angie Johnson of Hartford, John Brown of Centertown, Salina Sutton of Owensboro and Jackie Brown of Cromwell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Michael Brown speaking. Burial will follow in Taylormine Cemtery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with BJ’s family from 4-8 P.M., Monday and from 11 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
