Brenda Gail (Phillips) Peech

Brenda Gail Peech, 72, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away with her family by her side Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born June 16, 1953, in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Ervin and Lorine Tavis Phillips. Brenda retired from Green River Home Health and was a member of Downtown Fountain Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Especially going to yard sales together.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Tonja Simpson and brother, Doyle Phillips.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband of nearly forty years, James Peech, five sons, Bobby (Amber) Fowler, Dewayne Simpson, David (Patricia) Cole, Ira (Donna) and James (Starr) Peech; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and siblings, Randy (Dana) Phillips, Keith (Marie) Phillips, Glen (Ellen) Thomas and Donna (David) Berry.

A graveside service will be held at 12 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Sunnyside Cemetery with Rev. Reecie Young, officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 until the time of the service at the cemetery.
