Douglas Ray Bullock
July 15, 1963 – February 10th 2026 - Beaver Dam KY
Douglas Ray Bullock went to be with the Lord on February 10th, after a private battle with cancer.
Douglas was the grandson of the late Beve Proctor Bingham and Maud Parman Bingham, Victor Bullock and Ada King Bullock and the son of the late Kenneth Ray Bullock. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Bingham Bullock, a son, Joshua Ray Bullock (Tracy), a brother, Kenneth Steven Bullock (Julie), and one nephew, Carson Lucas Bullock. He is also survived by his cousins, Lee (Violet) Thienes and many more cousins, aunts and uncles.
Douglas was a veteran of the United States Army with the 3rd Armored Division, the 100th Training Division and continued his patriotism for our country through his love of restoring & collecting U.S. Army Militaria, especially Willy's Jeeps. His goal was to open a history museum for the displays. He was a member of Green River Baptist Church.
He was a former employee of the Moore Automotive Team for the Chevrolet store in Owensboro and the Ford store in Hartford. He was a very talented automotive technician, diagnostician, and an avid gearhead up to the point he was physically unable to be. What he didn't know would be quickly found out through manuals or YouTube videos.
Douglas embraced true charity through acts of service. Changing an alternator for a friend, changing a tire for a stranger on the parkway, or giving someone cash when their grocery bill came up short. He always said "God takes care of the poor little sillies in this world", and it was his way of saying, if not me, then who?
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Kevin Daugherty and family for the years of brotherhood. We would also like to thank the countless individuals who have helped our family during this time.
"And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?' Then I said, 'Here I am! Send me.'" - Isaiah 6:8
