Douglas Garner

Douglas Garner, 63, of Beaver Dam, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 21, 1958 to the late Raleigh and Katherine Chinn Garner in Indianapolis, IN. He is a member of Slaty Creek Church in Prentiss and he worked as a machinist.

Aside from his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by two brothers Danny Garner and Anthony Garner.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Cathy Garner of Beaver Dam; three children Richard (Diana) Garner of Hartford, Raleigh (Chanda) Garner of Beaver Dam, and Kat (Lee) Billiter of Beaver Dam. Douglas was blessed with eight grandchildren Randy Norris, Dalton Garner, Serenity Garner, Alora Glenn, Gideon Glenn, Allen Billiter, Angel Billiter and Whitney Billiter; two great grandchildren Jayde and Harley Rayne Billiter.

Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 17, 2021 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Alton Crowe officiating.  Burial will follow in Slaty Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM  until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
