James L. "JL" Taylor

James L. “JL” Taylor, 83, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born October 17, 1942, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky to the late Leonard Maxwell Taylor and Norma Miller Taylor. Jim retired from Youngs Sawmill.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Wise.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother, Septtimous “Tim” (Deborah) Taylor; sister, Debra Taylor Bratcher of Owensboro as well as nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

No services will be held. However, the family requests cheering for your favorite basketball team in his memory.
