Jerry Wayne Widner, 72 of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Madisonville Health and Rehab. He was born on September 26, 1949, in Harlan, Kentucky to Billie Ruth Parsley Patrick and the late Robert Widner. Jerry worked as a coal miner for Golden Globe Coal.
Aside from his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sudie Marie Widner and Judy Widner.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his children, Gary Widner of Madisonville and Donna (Michael) Palmer of Madisonville; his mother, Billie Ruth Parsley Patrick of Beaver Dam; six siblings, Dewey (Linda) Widner, Rodney Widner, Margaret (Carlos) Smith, Mary (Roy) Middleton, Rhonda Widner and Susanne (Mark) Johnson. Jerry was blessed with three grandchildren, Leah Jarvis, Alyssa Jarvis and Megan (Javonte) Rodgers and two great-grandchildren, Tyreke Rodgers and MaKaia Rodgers.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 until the time of the service at Sunnyside Cemetery.
