Jesse Lunsford, 64, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 with his family by his side under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. He was born June 1, 1958 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Eugene “Buddy” Lunsford, Jr. and Wanda Lee King Lunsford. Jesse was a brick mason by trade, owner of Lunsford’s Ceramics and a member of Horse Branch Church of God.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Lee McKinney-Nunn and son-in-law, Ronnie Neace.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Judy Lunsford; six children, Crystale (Jesse) Finley of Hartford, Melissa Lunsford of Owensboro, April Lunsford of Owensboro, Teresa (Nathan) Stafford of Olaton, Bobbi Neace of Owensboro and Billy (Lacy) Lunsford of Beaver Dam; 13 grandchildren, Jesse “Bowen” Finley, Symarah Finley, Broghan Lunsford, Aaryn Rogers, Kaytlyn Clark-Petty, Tyler Clark-Petty, Jasmine Clark-Petty, Nathadious Stafford, Ross Lunsford, Bella Lunsford, Myles Dockery, James Dockery and Madysen Dockery; 2 sisters, Ruby Phelps of Hartford and Rhonda (O’Connell) Tarrance of Horse Branch and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will follow in Lunsford Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Jesse’s family from 3-7 PM Friday and 9-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
