Joan (Davis) Raymer

Joan Davis Raymer, 84, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born December 13, 1937 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late James Davis and Lutreacy Wilkey Davis Hoyt. Mrs. Raymer retired from Ohio County Hospital and was of the Christian faith.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Raymer; infant brother Aaron Glen Davis and two sisters, Marlene Hoyt and Judith Welch.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three children, Charles W. (Karen) Raymer of Hartford, Dennis G. (Neneth) Raymer of Warner Robins, Georgia and Linda F Roberts of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, Shawn Roberts, Nathan Roberts, Aaron Raymer, Jonathan Raymer, Whitney Raymer, Cory Fuller and Miya Hanselman; four great grandchildren, Sunny, Roman, Ava and Jaidyn and one sister, Darlene (Eugene) Kennison of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Jonathan McCree officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Joan’s family from 10 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
