Julia "Judy" N. (Blacklock) West

Julia N. “Judy” West, 73, of Cromwell went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 9, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born June 28, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ivan Blacklock and Eva Mae Burden Blacklock. Judy was housekeeping supervisor at Ohio County Hospital and River Valley Behavioral Health for many years.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise West; grandson, Michael Shawn Dies, and sister, Linda Laduff.

Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 42 years, William D. West of Cromwell; 4 children, Rick (Heather) West of Cape Coral, Florida, Zachary (Kasosha) West of Cromwell, Justen Hayden of Beaver Dam, and Lisa (Marty) Frank of Morgantown; one stepson, William B. (Bonnie) West of Owensboro; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Leisa) Blacklock of Beaver Dam, and her best friend of 61 years, Donald G. Brown, Sr. of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cromwell, Kentucky with Donald G. Brown, Sr. officiating. Friends may visit with Judy’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.
