Kathy Lynn (Willoughby) White

Kathy Lynn White, 53, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born December 21, 1969 in Hartford, Kentucky to the Tommy Willoughby and the late Sue Holland Willoughby. Kathy was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and doting on her grandchildren. Her strong will and fighting spirit was admired by all who met her. No matter how sick she felt during her year and a half long battle with cancer, she remained optimistic and fought hard until the very end. As described by one of her nurses at the Heartford House, “Kathy does not fit into any one box”. She truly was on of a kind and will be missed tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Holland Willoughby.

Kathy was formerly married to Wayne R. White and together they raised three daughters, Pamela Willoughby (Chad Wilson), Michelle White (Ben Roach), and Tonya White (Matthew Arnold); four grandchildren, Gracie May Quisenberry, Tanner Quisenberry, Abby Sue Roach, Briar Lee Roach; father, Tommy Willoughby; two brothers, Tommy (Jenny) Willoughby and Rodney (Margaret) Willoughby, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, July 3, 2023 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery in Butler County, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Kathy’s family from 10 AM until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
