Lois V. (Dockery) Morris

Lois V. Dockery Morris, 96, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born Thursday, January 3, 1929, in Welches Creek, Kentucky to the late Wiley Dockery and Lillian Lacefield Dockery. Mrs. Morris retired from GE after sixty-four years of service and attended Owensboro Christian Church.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Kimberly “Kim” Morris and five siblings, Herbert Dockery, Dimple Shell, GV “Chigger” Dockery, Chalmer “Sluggo” Dockery and Bonnie Maddox.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three siblings, Jackie Dockery, Cleo Dockery and JoAnn (Jim) Midkiff as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the staff at Dogwood Estates and the caregivers who spent so much valuable time with Mrs. Morris.
