Loretta V. (Baize) Beatty

Loretta V. Beatty, 90, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 4, 1934, in Ohio County to the late Cleveland and Minnie Beatrice Stewart Baize. Loretta was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Billy Lee Beatty; two sisters, Marie Kubacko and Louise Sorrells and three brothers, Cecil Rex Baize, Carmon Baize and Rethel Baize.

She leaves behind to cherish many precious memories, her children, Steve (Blanca) Beatty of Centertown and Dawn (Wayne) Brown of Greenville; six grandchildren, Stephen Beatty, Michelle Beatty, Sara Hagy, Heather Caskey, Wilma Harbaugh and Billy Ruby; thirteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 Am Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Rosine Cemetery in Rosine. Friends may visit with Loretta’s family from 10:30 until the time of the service, Wednesday at the cemetery. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam has been entrusted with the arrangements.
