Margaret Jean (Maiden) Belford

Margaret Jean Maiden Belford, 88, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born Tuesday, August 31, 1937, in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Homer and Virginia Snodgrass Maiden. Margaret owned Beaver Dam Café.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Belford; four sisters, Kathy Jo Maiden, Sue Chinn, Pat Shepherd and Sandy Baize; three brothers, Jackie Maiden, Charles Maiden and Ralph Maiden.

Survivors include one sister, Judy Goff and several nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch, Kentucky with Dewayne Johnson officiating. Friends may visit from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the cemetery.
