Margaret "Peggy" McKeown

Margaret “Peggy” McKeown, 72 of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on July 28, 1952 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late James and Ora Combs McKeown. Peggy worked as a truck driver.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hancock; two sisters, Nancy Joseph and Brenda Frizzell and one brother, James McKeown, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her daughters, Tammy Barnett and Tina Haywood both of Owensboro; two siblings, Sharon Dixon and Ronnie McKeown both of Beaver Dam; eight grandchildren, Travis (Vinh) Vu, Ciara Poston, Autumn (Chace) Ling, Chelsea (Randen) Ward, Brittany McGee, Amber Barnett, DJ Barnett and Blake Hagan and fifteen great grandchildren, Aubrey Wood, Abbigale Ling, Leland Poston, Leyton Poston, Maddie Rennie, Rylan Puckett, Jackson Puckett, Kendall Barnett, Axel Barnett, Drake Ling, Skylar Hua, Brayden Ward, Jace Ward and Alaina Ward.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.
