Mary (Evans) Filback

Mary E. Filback, 80, of Cromwell, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab. She was born December 23, 1940 in Ohio County to the late Ules Evans and Edna Stewart Evans. Mary retired from Thomas Industries and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Harry Filback; two brothers, Nelson Evans and Boonie Evans and three sisters, Gladys Tichenor, Louise Filback and Vera C. Griffin.

Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Harry “Buster” (Sue) Filback and Les Filback both of Cromwell; six grandchildren, Jason (Lindsey) Filback, Tammy (Jordan) Cummings, Teresa (Matt) Shelton, Kelci (Troy) Duncan, Leslieann Filback and Brooklyn Filback; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and two sisters, Flo Geary of Horse Branch and Nancy Brown of Beaver Dam.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Ricky Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with Mary’s family from 4-7 PM Tuesday and 9 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
