Michael Dale Lindsey, 65, of Hartford, Kentucky, died October 3, 2024, in Hartford, at Signature Healthcare Rehab & Wellness. Dale was born September 27, 1959, in Olaton, Kentucky, to Oma and Shelby Lindsey.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, G.W. and Ronnie Joe Lindsey.
Survivors include his children, Micah (Jason) Brock, of Caneyville, and Michael Dale (Jessica) Lindsey II, of Whitesville; seven grandchildren, Alicia (Alex) Brock, Taylor Lindsey, Daniel (Natalie) Brock, Mariah Lindsey, Michael Dale Lindsey III, and Violet Lindsey; and one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Brock.
He is also survived by sister-in-law, Carmen Lindsey; sisters, Mary Lou (Buddy) Daugherty, Kathy (Larry) Hayse; brothers, Bobby (Kathy) Lindsey, Charles (Judy) Lindsey, Norman (Richard) Lindsey, Dennis (Sherry) Lindsey; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dale loved his family, and was proud of his kids and grandchildren, He loved the Kentucky Wildcats, and visiting with friends on his front stoop in his later years. Dale was also a heck of a card and board game player, and family and friends will remember fondly about how he could stack a deck, usually against you. God forbid you were unlucky enough to play Monopoly or Checkers with him, because he’d smoke ya!
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will follow in Yeaman Cemetery. Friends may visit with Dale’s family from 9 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
