Nancy F. (Evans) Brown

Nancy Evans Brown, 76, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away peacefully Saturday, November 9, 2024, with her family by her side at her home. She was born Tuesday, April 27, 1948, in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Ules Evans and Edna Vie Stewart Evans. Nancy was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lendale Ray Brown; three daughters, Letta Kaye Brown, Debbie Kay Brown and Linda Fay Brown; four sisters, Louise Filback Young, Vera C. Filback, Mary Filback, and Gladys Tichenor and two brothers, Nelson B. Evans and Eunice “Boonie” Evans

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, four children, Timmie Ray Brown (Sandy) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Beverly Brown of Owensboro, Mary Ruth Brown (Alex Konken) of Beaver Dam and Sketter Brown of Owensboro; four grandchildren; Christopher Brown, Starla (Russell) Ball, Christina (Phillip) Grafton, and Filicia (Jeremiah) Renfrow; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Floy Geary of Horse Branch and several nieces and nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Dave Fuqua officiating. Burial will follow in Centertown Cemetery. Friends may visit with Nancy’s family from 3-7 PM Tuesday and 9 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
