Oscar Milton Wright

Oscar Milton Wright, 85, of Olaton, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his residence. He was born May 26, 1940, in St. Louis, MO to the late Oscar Wright and Stella Long Wright. Mr. Wright was a retired steel worker and member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Wright and Elton Wright as well as two sisters, Virginia Ashford and Hazel Miller.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Donna Wright of Olaton; two sons, Brian (Meredith) Wright of Clawson, Michigan and Richard (Alicia) Wright of Highland, Indiana; four grandchildren, Matthew Wright, Megan Wright, Hayley (Randy) Lambert and Jacob Wright and brother, John Wright of Rosine.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, April 13, 2026, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
