Randall Hugo Lytle, 91 of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born on March 13, 1934 in Rumsey, Kentucky to the late Victor H. Lytle Jr. and Louise Crowe Lytle. Mr. Lytle was a longtime member, trustee and deacon at Cool Springs Baptist Church; he was a member of the historical society and the Taylortown Homemakers. Randall received the Tressie Award and was known for the candy and toys he gave out. He worked as the lock and dam master for the United States Corps of Engineers.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Belle Lytle; one grandson, Zachary Martin and three siblings, Hilda Jobe, Maxine Bassett and James Lytle.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three children, Alexandra “Roxanne” (Paul) Eytchison, of Yakima, Washington, James G. “Bo” (Lanetta) Lytle, of Bowling Green, and Hugo “Huey” (Tammy) Lytle, of Owensboro; his daughter at heart, Gail (Terry) Collard, of Louisville. Randall was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Angela (Derek) Olive, Andrew (Krystal) Martin, Noah Martin, Elanea Martin, Chase (Lachel) Coleman, Zachary Eytchison, Joshua Eytchison, Natalie (Chris) Jackson, Aaron (Hanna) Parks, Kerri Mitchell, George (Mary) Lytle, Aaron (Natalie) Lytle and Henry Lytle; granddaughter-in-law, Tosha Martin; 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild and one on the way.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jerry Alexander and Bro. Josh Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family of Mr. Lytle from 4-8 P.M. on Friday and from 9 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
