Reginald F. Shelton, 84 of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born on June 28, 1940, in Muhlenberg County to the late Floyd Elmo and Lillian Grayson Shelton. Reginald worked as a machinist at MPD.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Decker Shelton; his infant son, Tony Shelton; infant daughter, Darla Shelton and his loving brothers and sisters.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, two daughters, Tammy Clark of Owensboro and Tonya (Jamie) Hohimer of Beaver Dam; three grandchildren, Kelsey (Edward) Hayes, Brittany (Erik) Ross and Tiffany (Josh) Bratcher and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM Saturday, December 14, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Chaplain Jim Midkiff officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery. Friends may visit with Reginald’s family from 10 AM until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
