Reginald "Joe" Stevens

Reginald “Joe” Stevens, 87, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky passed away with his family by his side Sunday, August 27, 2023, at his home. He was born February 16, 1936, in Barton, Vermont to the late John Stevens and Eunice Labor Stevens. Joe was a farmer and member of Green River Baptist Church in Cromwell.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Hoadley.

Joe married the love of his life, Margaret “Betty” Davis Stevens, on June 11, 1966, and together they raised two children, Holly St. Clair of Hopkinsville and Gary John (Amy) Stevens of Horse Branch; one granddaughter, Jasmyne Stevens, and two great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Korbyn Johnson.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 1, 2023, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Mike Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit with Mr. Stevens family from 4-7 PM Thursday and from 9 AM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
