Ricky Layne Morris

Ricky Layne Morris, 66 of Central City, Kentucky passed away on
Monday, February 6, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 13, 1956 in
Muhlenberg County to the late Delbert Elvis and Buetta Irene Piper
Morris. Ricky was retired from Martin Marietta Hartford Rock Quarry
where he worked as a truck driver.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother,
Darrell “Bud” Morris and four sisters, Betty Jones, Shirley
Georgopoulos, Patricia Knight and Karen Casebier.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories his wife of 37 years,
Cathline Deweese Morris of Central City; one daughter, Sherry Lynn
Morris of Beaver Dam; one brother, Elvis “Wayne” Morris of Greenville;
three grandchildren, Koree Parker, Dillon Morris and Jacob Morris; one
great-granddaughter, Karlee Parker and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 10, 2023 at
William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jerry Alexander
and Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in New
Harmony Cemetery in Butler County. Friends may visit with Ricky’s family
from 4-8 P.M. Thursday and from 9 A.M. until the time of the service on
Friday.
