Robert David "Fugi" Stewart

Robert David “Fugi” Stewart, 65, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born Sunday, June 14, 1959, to the late George Rufus Stewart and Elsie Juanita Dixon Stewart. David was an over the road truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. David enjoyed watching UK Basketball, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He proudly served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Janice Stewart.

Survivors include three brothers, Charles Wayne Stewart, Dennis Harold Stewart and Darrell George Stewart; two sisters, Becky Maxwell and Elizabeth Stewart and several nieces and nephews and great as well as great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Jay Raymond officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
