Rosa Travis Obituary

Rosa Juanita Travis, 88 of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born on September 8, 1932 in Belton, Kentucky to the late Paul and Rosella Mallory Carver. Juanita was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Travis.

She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her children, Brad (Tonya) Travis of Leitchfield and Tasha (Robert) Anderson of White Bluff, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Corey Travis, Kyle (Emily) Travis, Jessika (Dalton Hogue) Anderson and Josh Anderson; her brother-in-law, Grover Travis; half-brothers, Bruce Carver of Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Ronnie Carver of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; half-sister, Paula Hooks of La Vergne, Tennessee and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services were held at Sunnyside Cemetery with Pastor Doug King officiating. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam was entrusted with the arrangements.
