Sharon Sue (Daugherty) Coy

Sharon Sue Coy, 67 of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born on December 30, 1954 in Hartford to the late Russell and Elsie Allen Daugherty. She worked as a CNA at several area nursing homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Daugherty and Elsie Allen Daugherty.

She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her husband of 40 years, Paul Coy of Horse Branch; two children, Paul “Martin” Coy of Horse Branch and Mary (Christopher) Daugherty of Utica; one sister, Mary (Dan) Batts and five grandchildren, Kaden Coy, Bentley Coy, Gunner Daugherty, Corbin Daugherty and Dean L. Coy.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, May 16, 2022 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jeff Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Renfrow Cemetery in Horse Branch. Friends may visit with Sharon’s family from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
