Sheila (McCoy) Richardson

Sheila McCoy Richardson, 77, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Veachel McCoy and Cynthia Eveline Raley McCoy. Sheila formerly worked for Brown Williams in Louisville and LG&E.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, AJ Richardson; brothers, Emil Baize and James E. McCoy and sisters, Faye Reynolds and Joan S. Cox.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sweetheart of fifty-six years, David Kessinger of Munfordville; daughter, Cynthia Bundy of Louisville; grandson, Nicholas Mills and nephews and nieces, Timothy Cox, James Cox, Michael Cox, Patrick Reynolds, James “Chop” McCoy, Melissa Prond, Mindy Pauley, Lisa Reynolds Anderson, LaDonna McCoy.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ohio County, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Sheila’s family from 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
