Shelia Jean (Fulton) Phelps

Shelia “Jean” Phelps, 78, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, with her son by her side at home. She was born September 29, 1947, in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Frances Lee Fulton. She retired after many years from Citizens Bank. Jean was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and served as the treasurer.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Dewey “Pete” Phelps and sister, Beverly Dean Shoopman.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Shawn (Ana Feliciano) Phelps.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, March 16, 2026, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Greg Hillard officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
