Shirley Marie (Morris) Arnold

Shirley Marie Arnold, 70, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at her residence. She was born Friday, August 14, 1954, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Thomas and Alta Jones Morris. She retired from Wal-Mart and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Arnold, son, Tim Arnold, son-in-law, Frank Burton and brother, Thomas Morris.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Tammy Burton and Cecilia Smith, both of Hartford; five grandchildren, Jacob Arnold, Faith Arnold, Hannah Arnold, Austin Burton and Abbie Burton; one great granddaughter, Eliza Arnold and two sisters, Faye Arnold and Debbie Dockery.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery. Friends may visit with Shirley’s family from 10 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
