Shirley Ann (Lindsey) Haight

Shirley Ann Lindsey Haight, 79, of Evansville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with her family by her side at her home. She was born February 1, 1946, in Lindseyville, Kentucky to the late James Montgomery and Vastie Lamar Lindsey. Shirley worked many years and retired as an apartment manager. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Newburgh, Indiana. Shirley enjoyed movies and playing board games with her grandchildren. She loved her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren.  

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dallas Lindsey, Carl Lindsey and Charles Lindsey and a sister, Clarsia Trupp.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of twenty-nine years, Donald Haight; daughter, Kelly (Peter) Christensen; grandchildren, Nolan White, Macie White and Autumn Sinnott; brother, J.R. Lindsey as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, September 19, 2025, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Don Lamar officiating. Friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cromwell, Kentucky.
